Ruling the Roost

Here's an insider's tip for your eagle watching trip to Higgens Point. Look for a black truck with STAYWET plates and this guy toting a giant camera/lens. It's renowned local diving instructor and eagle photographer extraordinaire Tom Michalski. He shoots out there nearly every day and loves to talk photography, eagles and life on the lake. Ask to see his albums of eagle shots ... they're incredible!

I have run across him before. A very nice man with some amazing photos if you ever run in to him. He really knows how to capture the Bald Eagle. The Stickman

I'm so lucky to have made a friend in Tom - and have become an avid photographer myself. It's so much fun to hang out with him and the rest of our friends, especially during eagle season at Higgins Point every winter.
He's passionate about his photography and turns a simple photograph into a work of art, Tom's images are simply stunning and spectacular!
Plus - he's a genuinely all around nice guy!
