In Plain Sight

Alongside Coeur d'Alene River Road in the Coeur d'Alene National Forest a white tail doe stands sentry in the brush. Two fawns waited across the road to join their mother.

Beautiful photos! We and some friends are considering CDA as a possible place to retire in a few years. We're in S. California, although my husband is from a small ranch community in N. Cal near the Oregon border. Your blog gives us a beautiful and "on location", as well as realistic, view of everyday and every season life there! Thank you!

Thanks Denise, my goal has been to do exactly what you've described ... show a slice of life here in North Idaho. There's a link on the righthand rail that reads Come Home to North Idaho. My sister can help you find your slice of Heaven here in North Idaho when you're ready to make a move!
